Nigel Pritchard

Nigel has over 20 years' PR experience, both in house and with leading PR consultancies in London. In 1995 he launched Pritchard Public Relations, before joining Nigel Lawrence in 2004 to form Lawrence Pritchard Public Relations. He launched On&Off Communications in January 2010.

Nigel has worked for a wide variety of clients including Amstrad; marketing consultancy Aspen plc; data consultancy dunnhumby, where he launched Tesco ClubCard; leading market researcher, Taylor Nelson AGB plc (now TNS); and Internet conference leaders RMR plc.

He was an early adopter of the Internet, launching an online marketing title – Marketingworld.com – ahead of the established trade titles Marketing and Marketing Week.

Alison Clements

Alison Clements is a business journalist with over 12 years' experience, covering retail and many other industry sectors in that time. Specialist areas include e-commerce, marketing, employee training and benefits, supply chain, technology and corporate leadership.

Previously a news reporter and then features editor on Retail Week she now writes regularly for Retail Week, Human Resources, The Bookseller, The Grocer, Drapers, Times Online and The Observer.

Alison's recent clients include Land Securities, training firm Retail Performance Specialists, Barclays, Egremont Consulting and Capital Shopping Centres.

Kendrick Struthers-Watson

Kendrick has been writing about mobile telecommunications since 1982 BC (Before Cellular). He was global editor at Horizon House Publications and was managing editor of the Official Daily Newspaper for ITU Telecom events. He started – and wrote – the first overnight Show Daily for GSM Association in Cannes with Mark Smith – who is now a director at GSMA.

As well as writing press material for Alcatel for GSM World Congress Cannes for two years Kendrick also launched the Alcatel Dual Band base station at Cité des Sciences in Paris before an audience of 600 EMEA clients while running a live TV-type chat show with personnel involved in the project.

He has provided daily online news services for BBWF (Broad Band World Forum) and FTTH (Fibre To The Home) Council of Europe and his in-depth knowledge of the telecommunications sector has led to him being interviewed on BBC Breakfast TV, BSkyB and Radio 5.

Siân Harrington

Siân is an award-winning journalist with more than 20 years' experience on business publications. Fields she has covered include retail, marketing, brand strategy, food, health, sustainability, foodservice, leisure, human resources, the City and private finance initiatives.

She is currently Editor of HR magazine, a monthly printed title and online daily published by Haymarket, which is also available on Twitter. Under her editorship the title won HR Publication of the Year at the Towers Watson awards for excellence in HR journalism 2010 and Siân received the award for HR Journalist of the Year, business and trade titles. She is also shortlisted for Editor of the Year (business media) at the prestigious PPA Awards 2010. Last year she was highly commended in this category and HR was highly commended for Monthly Business Magazine of the Year.

Previous titles include The Grocer, Retail Week, In-Store Marketing, Brand Strategy and The PFI Report. Siân has also undertaken freelance work for a range of national newspapers and business titles; is a columnist for The Grocer and regularly chairs conferences, speaks at events and commentates in the national press and on TV and radio.

Siân is a strong believer in corporate social responsibility and is campaigning for more employers to embed it in their culture. At HR she has also launched campaigns for more support for employees with caring responsibilities for elderly dependents and children, and has tied up with Working Families to sponsor an annual index recognising the best family-friendly employers.

She brings all this experience to advise On&Off Communications on the latest media thinking, discuss angles and campaigns and help with editorial strategy.
